AYSO United is happy to announce that 13 of our players made the ODP player pool for 2022-2023. ODP, or Olympic Development Program, starts with an open tryout where coaches evaluate player’s performance and skills. including technique, tactics, athletic ability, and attitude. ODP coaches, select players they believe are ready to be successful in the Arizona ODP program.
Players who make the pool participate in six training sessions and those who perform at the highest level of play are identified for possible regional and/or national team pool or team participation.
All players, in the pool are invited to attend Developmental Camp and/or Sub Regional Camp, which is hosted by Arizona Soccer Association.
ODP players are still members of their host clubs and will continue to compete with league and tournament play.
We are very proud of all of our players who were selected to be a part of the pool and wish them the best of luck as they continue to compete for regional and/or national team consideration.
